weddings & events
Nestled on the back 40 acres of the family farm, sits the barn. Licciardello Farms boasts beautiful oak trees, an open air barn, and breathtaking sunset views.
The idea to venture into the wedding industry began after Angelo and I attended 10+ weddings within a few years. In 2018, I helped a friend (Katelyn Gifford of Katelyn Virginia Photography) plan and design her wedding and had an interest in wedding planning. Angelo took that a step further and suggsted a venue. One day we looked at the old horse barn on the family farm a little differently and our wheels began turning.
Shortly after we were engaged in June 2018, Angelo's dad passed away and we put things on hold. A few months later my mother-in-law Sandra, Angelo, and myself began discussing the potential business and soon after, renovations began. Angelo did all of the carpentry work on the barn himself, including those big beautiful doors. During the planning of our own wedding, we were designing and planning the barn. We were married in March 2019 and opened for business that October. Since then, we have hosted many wonderful couples and families and hope to continue to do so for years to come. We have hosted everything from weddings to baby showers to celebrations of life.
We truly love to share this space with you and hope that you and your family feel right at home here.
